The contents of the book is relevant and educational in general a long as you're interested into history, economics and geography of the Roman Empire; but parts concerning coins' description could be more developped.
Unfortunately, the edition is sometimes poor: letters from the Greek alphabet are sometimes missing, such as the Greek omega replaced by 'W' on some pages !

A POOR EDITION: some letters from the Greek alphabet have sometimes been replaced by latin ones, ie. the 'omega' replaced by 'W'. Not very professionnal and not very convincing.
THE HISTORY & GEOGRAPHY of the Roman Provinces and the mint cities are the only the well treated topics of the book. Unfortunately, coins' description is insuffisant. No listing of any kind, insufficient descriptions of reverses, etc. The 6th part -"Attributing Roman Provincial Coins"- is not helpful.
